Watch “GERBER – Armbar Drive – Some pro’s some con’s” on YouTube

The perfect multi-tool. Well almost. A little dissapointed in the latching of the driver and some, but overall one of the best well thought out multi-tools I have seen. The blade especially stands out. Just enough tools to not be too busy.

All in all a great pocket pal for the prepared.

Watch “Opinel Folding Saw Knife #12, Perfect Pocket Saw” on YouTube

I was so impressed with the sharpness of my Opinel folding knife (#8) I went back to thier website and did some browsing. To my surprise I found they also made folding Saws. 2 actually and I opted for the smaller folder keeping in mind I wanted one for my bushcraft toolroll.

It was not a dissapointmet small, compact and fits perfectly in my pocket. Great for walkabouts or doing some woodworking outdoors.

If you are a gardener this will come in very handy for those pruning chores.

Check it out. Compact sharp and the Opinel legend behind it.

Watch “CARON PARK MN. – Walkabout- and an Old Age Opps!” on YouTube

Well campers it comes to all. I did a sour of the moment walkabout. Normally I am already prepared for these as they come along as the name says. Ill suddenly decide to go walkabout.

Unfortunately these may be ending soon as I will have to plan them. Hence no more spur of the moment. Maybe they will become a “planned” spur of the moment outings….

I will now have to be sure to pack in advance if these moments. Which I suppose we should all be doing. After all we plan for the unexpected. Right.

Old age and forgetfulness. Hand in hand. So we adapt. And plan in advance. Now all I have to do is not Georgetown to plan in advance. Oh dear!!!.
