I am ashamed to say…

What’s the most money you’ve ever spent on a meal? Was it worth it?

Way back when men were men…I was in Kobe Japan. Paid about $160.00 for a Kobe steak. It was tiny but the best steak I have ever had. 😋. And it still was not worth it. It came with 3 smalk pieces of Broccoli ….

The horror….

No way

Scour the news for an entirely uninteresting story. Consider how it connects to your life. Write about that.

Really, have tried I mean really tried to read, watch or listen to the “news”….

I remember listening to the news growing up every morning in my parents Bed. I would lie there and listen to it. It was real news, local and world news…yep actual news.

Today you lucky to see real news, if you can even sift through the social media mentality of 99 percent of news stories .its all uninteresting…or maybe I,m just old and grumpy with the whole news media thing

The horror, no thankyou…I sit here with my head in the ground hoping nothing really bad is happening……

After all I have had a good run…cannot complain

Just saying….

What…….

List 30 things that make you happy.

I don’t know that many things for anything, never mind things that make me happy….I know know what makes me unhappy…not knowing 30 things about anything….Aargh

Modified OPINEL No 9, The TADPOLE, Wharncliffe Whittler , It’s a little masterpiece

I love the Opinel out knife. They are really well made. Almost perfect. The best thing is that they can be modified in so many ways. Here’s one way I changed a #9.

Higo No Kami Knives – Just so simple and I am truly confused about them

On my YouTube channel I like to review Knives. A particular favorite type do, for me is finding a traditional knife( with alot of history). from other counties. ( not the US).

This time on my search I came across these guys. HIGO NO KAMI. Say that 10 times…From Japan, these knives have a very interesting history. From way back, Sumarai times way back..1890’s back. So I brought one….well actually 3.

And that was the start of it….I just love the internet. Everybody had something to say. Except nobody said the same thing…..the horror. But I persisted and got a “general history if them” Facinating to say the least.

As fof the knife… well…..check out my review.

Rough Ryder Faded Blue Jeans BOW CANOE folding knife, My new favorite from this RR series.

This knife won me over as soon as I saw it. I love traditional folding knives. And this one. Well it’s a Canoe. .with a more obvious bow on the handle.

Probably my favorite from the Faded blue jean series
