A novice outdoorsmen learning camping, fishing, bushcraft and survival. "KNOWLEDGE IS A SURVIVAL SKILL"
I have been making videos on my You tube channel for over a year now. Typically camping and survival videos. These I placed in my video lists on my channel. Hopefully so viewers can choose what they want to watch. I have noticed that typically the review videos draw a bigger audience. Especially the camping and survival equipment videos.
I find myself a big fan of reviews on this same equipment. A quick search on You Tube on a piece of equipment I am considering owning produces thousands of reviews. Not all work for me. I find that a long review does not work for me. Typically a video review will hold my attention about 7 to 8 minutes. Upon looking into this, I found the shorter reviews got way more views in general. Looking at my views on my channel and the statistics offered this is true to my channel aswell.
This got me thinking…..never a good thing, but sparked an idea. If I made shorts….videos that is. I would get better responses on my channel. My subscribers would be more inclined to watch a quicky, maybe even one they would not typically look to view.
So born is my soon to be 2CG 2 minute tip videos series. Although I do camping and basic survival videos I believe just about any subject will draw an audience. Not that I am an exert at anything!
I have put together a number of videos about 2 minutes long. What subjects you ask…well I do any subject that comes to mind. Although I have only posted one so far (test video). I got mixed results. Not being one who is easily detered I will post a couple more.
These will be on things I have personally learnt from others or my own experience. Hopefully someone who takes about 2 minutes of thier time will benefit from them. Stay tuned.

Thanks for spending your valuable 2 minutes with me.

Prepared Wanderer here. I agree George folks like reviews and short ones. But I struggle with that because I want to do more skill related videos. Keep up the good work George!
