I was reading an article on Ferocium rods. Peaked my interest so pulled out all I had and took a closer look at them. Then went and tested them in the south 40vat the cottage. Interesting results. The strikers well kinda dissapointing some good some not so much. Check it out, there are quick links in the description below the video.

Yep it was a steamer day. Hot no wind, and miserable to be outside.
So I went fishing, tge joy. I’ve always been told the fish don’t bite when it’s that hot out. They obviously don’t watch my videos, They never bite when I’m out……..
This day was proving no real exception, just a few small Bass and a Crappie. Well that is untill I me a fish for the first time. What happened was , well check out the video….lol. its below

Everytime I have been hiking with Leigh he has used his Kelly Kettle to boil the water for our Coffee with our snack or meal when out trudging. I finally decided to have a look at the cook kits Kelly Kettle offers. I wentvahead and got the medium size kit. It turned out to be alot bigger than I first thought.
However I had the kit with most optional accessories and as it happens they kits are all the same and only the sizes differ. So decided to take it with me on the road trip to San Diego to see my girls for a week.
They used it out on the farm to make lunch one day. A fun time spent with a nice meal to boot.
